Reference management software helps you to keep track of your reading and references and makes it easier to find referencing information to cite material in your work. Using reference management software can save you time compiling and locating your references, and improves consistency and accuracy. UNAM library support research with technical support and training on how to use the following reference management software.

Zotero is a free and open-source reference management software to manage bibliographic data and related research materials. Zotero helps you collect, organize, annotate, cite, and share research. APA, Chicago, Harvard, MLA, and 10000 more referencing styles are available in Zotero.

Mendeley is a free reference manager that can help you store, organize, note, share and cite references and research data: It helps researchers to automatically generate bibliographies, collaborate easily with other researchers online, easily import papers from other research software, find relevant papers based on what you’re reading and access your papers from anywhere online.
